Animations, sound and screenshots

These settings are in Settings → Protection.

Choose how textures appear

When Paperman switches on or changes texture, it can reveal the new texture with a short animation. Under Texture reveal, pick one of these:

• Top to bottom
• Left to right
• Ink blots
• Paper scraps
• Ripple
• Corner curl

To make textures appear straight away, choose None.

Paper sound

Paperman plays a soft paper sound when you switch it on or off. To keep it quiet, switch off Paper sound on toggle.

Keep the texture out of screenshots

Switch on Hide from screenshots, and screenshots, screen recordings and screen sharing show your screen without the texture. You still see the texture yourself. It’s off by default.
