Paperman and full-screen apps

One of the most frequent requests we receive is how to get Paperman’s texture to show up over full-screen apps.

Due to Apple’s strict security sandboxing rules, apps distributed through the Mac App Store are prevented from overlaying apps running in full-screen mode.

To provide a seamless experience, we offer a standalone, direct download version of Paperman that fully supports the Paperman effect alongside full-screen apps.

If you purchased Paperman through the Mac App Store, we offer a completely free transition to our standalone lifetime license so you can enjoy full-screen support right away.

1. Find your App Store receipt: Open Finder and go to your Applications folder. Right-click on Paperman and select Show Package Contents.
2. Navigate to Contents > _MASReceipt. Inside, you’ll find a file named receipt, which is exactly what we need!
3. Share your receipt via email: Send an email to help@doubl.one with the receipt file attached. Be sure to send this from the email address you want your new Paperman license linked to.
4. Get your license: Once confirmed, we will reply with your new license key and a link to download the standalone version.
