Move your license to a new computer
When you get a new computer, you can easily move your Paperman Unlimited license over. Since each license covers up to 2 devices, you might not even need to deactivate your old one first!
Activate on your new computer
Simply download Paperman on your new device and enter your license key. (Can’t find your key? Search your email inbox for a receipt from Polar, or log in to the Polar customer portal to view it). If you have an empty slot, it will activate immediately.
Hit the device limit?
If Paperman tells you your license is used on too many devices, you’ll need to free up a slot by removing your old computer.
- Open the Polar customer portal.
- Sign in with the email address you used at checkout. Polar will email you a code to confirm it’s you.
- Go to Benefit Grants, then Activations.
- Remove your old device.
- Enter your license key in Paperman on the new device.
Bought through the Mac App Store or Setapp?
If you bought Paperman through the Mac App Store, just download it from your Purchased list on the new Mac, as it follows your Apple ID automatically. If you use Setapp, simply install Paperman from the Setapp app on your new Mac. There are no license keys to move!
