Choose a texture and how strong it looks
Switch textures
Pick a texture from the cards in the control center. To browse the whole collection, open Settings → Textures.
Pin up to 4 favorites to the control center so they’re always one click away. You can also cycle through textures with a hotkey, ⌥⌘T on a Mac by defaultCtrl + Alt + T on Windows by default.
On the free version for Windows, Classic Paper Matte is included. The rest of the collection comes with Paperman Unlimited.
Adjust the intensity
Drag the intensity slider in the control center to make the texture subtler or stronger. For small changes, click the sun icons on either side of the slider to nudge it by 1%.
Each texture remembers its own intensity, separately for light and dark mode.
Use different textures for day and night
Paperman keeps a Daytime and a Nighttime texture, and switches between them to match your system’s light or dark appearance. A Now label shows which one is active.
